Traveling Soon

I got word yesterday that one document from our social worker had to be redone.  YUCK!  I should be getting the new document tomorrow.  I do not think we are in a huge rush to get it to Bulgaria...hopefully we can just take it with us.  I also got word that our dossier should be approved by the IAC at this weeks meeting!!!! That is huge!!  I think it means we may our official referral and travel dates this week.  We could be traveling in just a few weeks.

We need funds to pay!   Please help if you can, if you can not donate then please pray that we will get the financial support we need to bring these boys home.

We also need a name for Bradyn.   Any suggestions?

Our kids names our
Caitlin
Adelin
Payton
Colton
Aubryn

We are adding Steven...will be Stephen

As you can see, we have a theme going...so it must fit in.  Has to end with an n.  We might keep Bradyn and change spelling.  We also need middle names.  I am having a hard time.  Troy has never really gotten into naming children,  this time is no different.  With Aubryn, we did not have her middle name until about an hour before she was born.  We had never even talked about it (the name we choose) before then and I was surprised when I saw how he spelled on her birth certificate)

Also, please pray for me.  This whole adoption thing gets very scary.  I know we were called to bring these boys home.  I know this is God's plan for our family...but sometimes it is scary.

  2. since i'm totally procrastinating on doing chores i'll just share a few observations/thoughts on your kids' names -

    - you have 2 C names and 2 A names already (so i didn't include many A and C suggestions above but did put in some) ...

    - also you have 2 names that end with "in" and 2 with "on" ... if you want Stephen and the other new boy to "match" you can do another "en" for "Bradyn" ... (ie, brayden or braden ...)

    - also you have 7 letters in caitlin and stephen but 6 in payton, colton, and aubryn ... so another 7 letter name would "match"/even it up ...

    - if you do caitlin adeline payton colton aubryn stephen c______ - you'd have a pattern with the Cs but not sure you want another C name ... might get too tongue-twister-y with 3 C names!

    - as for middle names, maybe use a family name or some version of his country of origin name/names ... (what's stephen's middle name going to be? what are the other kids' middle names, if you feel like sharing)

have fun coming up with the perfect combo for your precious boy! can't wait for both boys to be HOME, learning to be little Texas cowboys :-)

    1. oops - just saw that you said you need help with middle name"S" so i'm guessing you don't have one for stephen yet! what about stephen reese or stephen reece? in honor of reece's rainbow? my cousin's son's middle name is the same name but spelled "rhys" (which is welsh). i think biblical names would be neat as middle names. thomas, luke, david, daniel, joseph, james, andrew, joel ... ok. i'm seriously done now! you probably think i'm crazy. :-)
